Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women , the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Committee of the Mathematics Department visited the dormitories for female students at the Jadriya campus. The visit aimed to check on the students’ well-being, identify their needs, and provide advice and educational guidance regarding effective study methods and time management, especially during exam periods, as well as achieving a balance between academic and personal life.
The visit also focused on enhancing students’ mental health by helping them understand the importance of mental well-being and how to cope with stress and anxiety during their studies, as well as emphasizing the importance of hard work and diligence to achieve top ranks.
During the visit, the college delegation, headed by Lecturer Zakira Abdul Latif Ibrahim, met with the dormitory administration. Ms. Zakira emphasized the importance of this visit in building strong bonds between the students and the faculty members, creating a more supportive and collaborative environment within the university. She also highlighted the need to open communication channels with the students and encouraged them to reach out to the department’s guidance committee for any support or guidance they may need .
