The Computer Science Department Organizes an Exhibition Under the Patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim
The Computer Science Department organized an exhibition to celebrate Entrepreneurship Week, which included handcrafted and artistic works by students, as well as projects for newly developed software applications. The projects were supervised by the department’s professors and were designed and programmed by the students to foster creativity and enhance their programming and artistic skills.
The exhibition also featured awareness posters about Entrepreneurship Week, highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship as it involves the ability to innovate, guide, and motivate progress in a specific field, whether in business, technology, or society. Entrepreneurship is a process that relies on a visionary approach and the ability to create change and achieve new goals in an innovative and impactful way. It includes the ability to overcome challenges and succeed through creative ideas that improve the current situation or create new opportunities.
It is worth mentioning that entrepreneurship plays a significant role in supporting the economy, especially through creating projects for young people with unique ideas that solve problems or provide services to society, such as software applications adopted by government institutions or the private sector. These applications increase productivity, reduce effort, and ultimately help keep pace with global advancements in the field of computing and its applications.
