Under the patronage of Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, the Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Department of Mathematics organized an introductory seminar about the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit. This seminar was part of the department’s support for female students and its effort to provide suitable opportunities for their professional futures. The seminar aimed to introduce the services provided by the unit in the fields of training and employment, in addition to highlighting the skills required for the labor market.
The workshop was attended by a large number of students, during which they were briefed on how to benefit from the training programs and workshops offered by the unit. Furthermore, guidance was provided on how to prepare a CV, strategies for job searching, and how to prepare for personal interviews.
The unit officials also answered students’ questions and assisted them in identifying job fields that align with their mathematics specialization or skills in other disciplines
