A delegation from the College of Science for Women, headed by Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Kahdim, Dean of the College, and including Assistant Professor Dr. Mukhtar Khamees Mohammed and Assistant Professor Dr. Wissan Addai Mahdi, participated in the activities of the First International Scientific Conference organized by the College of Environmental Sciences under the title “Our Environment… Reality and Ambition.”
The conference was held in the large university theater and included a group of researchers and academics from various scientific institutions. The conference featured various scientific sessions and specialized research that addressed key current environmental issues and discussed innovative ways to achieve environmental sustainability and raise environmental awareness.
Dr. Sameera Naji Kahdim expressed her pride in participating in this distinguished scientific event, noting that the conference represented an important opportunity for exchanging ideas and scientific experiences among researchers and strengthening academic collaboration between Iraqi universities. She also emphasized the significant role that environmental research plays in addressing current challenges and developing future visions that serve both society and the environment.
