The master’s theses, Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Activity Study of Some New Heterocyclic Compounds Derived from Cefalaxine Drug by Student: Wafaa Abd Alaziz Fleih Hasan Alazawe.
The research contained the synthesis of several new end products such as (Amic, Imide, azo, Schiff bases, tetrazole compounds). Some of these derivatives have important biological activities for many styles of microorganisms (Staphylococcus aureus, E.coli. Pneumonia) and one sort of Fungi (Candida albicans).
The study was done at the University of Baghdad’s College of Science for Women’s Chemistry Department in the laboratories of the College of Science for Women’s. Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Activity Study of Some New Heterocyclic Compounds Derived from Cefalaxine Drug
. The prepared compounds were characterized using Infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (HNMR). The thermal stability of some of the prepared compounds was studied using a differential calorimetry device (TGA), and the biological effectiveness of some compounds were studied using different types of bacteria (Positive + Gram and negative – Gram bacteria ) and some types of fungi. Then Molecular Docking was studied.
The letter makes the following key recommendations:
- Synthesis of heterocyclic compounds derived from Cefalixne derivatives containing distinct institutions.
- Ring is nearer of Cefalixne derivatives using one-of-a-kind reagents to shape new heterocyclic derivatives.
- Study other applications for the compounds before and after the cycliztion system
