The thirteenth session of the University of Baghdad Council was held in the meeting hall of the College of Science for Women on Monday morning, chaired by Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim, the President of the University of Baghdad. The session was attended by the scientific and administrative assistants of the university president, as well as the deans of colleges and institutes. Dr. Samira Naji Kadhim, the Dean of the College, welcomed the attendees. The meeting discussed various scientific matters listed on the council’s agenda. The university council is the highest scientific and administrative authority in the university, and it is responsible for recommending and approving research and scientific plans. It convenes regularly twice a month to discuss agenda items and make necessary recommendations and decisions.
