Computer Laboratories for the Mathematics Department

The Mathematics Department has computer laboratories with the best technical laboratory specifications and the latest programs currently used, dedicated to learning the principles of using computers and for practical study of solving equations, numerical analysis and modern mathematical statistics, and preparing scientific courses in addition to using the computer as an executive tool for students’ projects from designing programs and printing research and reports and other scientific activities in addition to using the laboratory during free hours to acquire computer skills, do homework and solve mathematical problems.

Laboratory (1) for Undergraduate study

Its purpose:
-Training students on programming skills in various academic subjects within the specialization
-Conducting evaluation exams for female students
-Providing an educational environment for training female students

Its purpose:

Laboratory (4) for Undergraduate study

The Department of Mathematics has created a smart electronic laboratory in the new building with the best technical laboratory specifications and the latest programs currently used, designed to accommodate 100 students. It contains 60 computers with high specifications with a display screen and all the necessary furniture to equip the laboratory and the administration room.

Its purpose:

It is dedicated to learning the principles of using the computer and for practical study to solve equations, numerical analysis and modern mathematical statistics, and preparing scientific courses in addition to using the computer as an executive tool for students’ projects from designing programs and printing research and reports and other scientific activities in addition to using the laboratory during free hours to acquire computer skills, do homework and solve mathematical problems. The programs approved in the laboratories are updated periodically in order to complete assignments and homework accurately and quickly with the aim of achieving the best level of information knowledge and skills.
