Phenolic and flavonoid compounds were extracted from <em>Bacopa monnieri<\/em>, followed by their nano-formulation to enhance bioactivity. The antibiofilm effects were assessed against <em>Serratia marcescens<\/em>. The findings revealed that nano-phenol and nano-flavonoid displayed superior efficacy compared to phenolic extract and flavonoid extract.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_92164\"><span class=\"cz_acc_child\"><i class=\"cz-acc-i cz-acc-icon fa czico-052-three-2\"><\/i><div>Recommendations of the Thesis<\/div><\/span><div class=\"cz_acc_child_content clr\">[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]The study concluded that phenolic and flavonoid nanoparticles from Bacopa monnieri, synthesized through nanotechnology, represent a novel and promising approach for combating biofilm-related infections caused by bacteria such as Serratia marcescens. Molecular analysis confirmed that nanoparticle treatment significantly reduced the expression genes fimA and smaI.
