Organic carbon (glucose) and inorganic carbon (sodium bicarbonate) sources were added at three different concentrations, while monitoring several physical and chemical variables such as water temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, phosphate, nitrate, carbon dioxide, dissolved organic carbon, chlorophyll, in addition to bacterial counts.
