The doctor then draws the tumor area and the surrounding critical organs and determines the appropriate radiation dose. After that, the physicist creates a treatment plan in terms of the number of radiation beams and the angles of their entry into the tumor, as 95% of the radiation dose must be delivered to the tumor area and a lower dose to the surrounding critical organs. The patient is then entered into the linear accelerator device, where he fixes himself and his position in the CT room. The difference between the image coming from the physics and the portal image in the device is calculated. If the difference between the two images is within the permissible range, the patient is treated.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_70170\"><span class=\"cz_acc_child\"><i class=\"cz-acc-i cz-acc-icon fa czico-052-three-2\"><\/i><div>Content of the thesis<\/div><\/span><div class=\"cz_acc_child_content clr\">[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]The thesis also includes the setup error in the linear accelerator, which is the difference between the actual treatment image represented by the portal image and the digitally reconstructed x-ray image coming from the physical planning, which is the reference image (DRR). To increase the life expectancy of head and neck, breast, and pelvic cancer patients, the efficiency and accuracy of radiotherapy delivery are critical factors in terms of cancer suppression and the dose received by critical organs.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_98627\"><span class=\"cz_acc_child\"><i class=\"cz-acc-i cz-acc-icon fa czico-052-three-2\"><\/i><div>thesis recommendations<\/div><\/span><div class=\"cz_acc_child_content clr\">[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]The most important recommendations which the study has come up with and the average obtained. The using X-ray volumetric imaging (XVI) system gives image cone-beam computerized tomography (CBCT) which is a three-dimensional image. Whereas the XVI can show the critical organs, such as the lungs in breast cancer, Also the bladder, and the rectum in pelvic cases. And to reduce the systematic and random errors.
