: The College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad discussed a master\u2019s thesis entitled “Evaluation\u00a0 the Activity of Green Synthesized Chitosan Nanoparticles of Punica granatum<\/em> Peel Extract Against MDR Klebsiella Pneumoniae<\/em> in Baghdad City” By Roula Qais Zaki in Partial Fulfilment of the Requirements for the Degree of Master in Biology\/Microbiology Supervised by Assist.Prof.Dr.Rana Ali Hasan\u00a0 .<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Objectives of the Thesis <\/div><\/span>

The thesis focused on evaluating the effect of nanoparticles from Punnica granatum<\/em> peel extract against multidrug-resistant bacteria isolated from burns and wounds. The study aimed to compare the effects of antibiotics and nanoparticles from Punnica granatum<\/em> peel extract on highly resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae <\/em>bacteria.<\/p>\n

The results showed that chitosan nanoparticles loaded with pomegranate extract exhibited antibacterial activity against antibiotic-resistant strains of K.pneumoniae<\/em><\/p>\n
