{"id":8084,"date":"2025-04-24T10:32:28","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T07:32:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=8084"},"modified":"2025-04-24T10:32:28","modified_gmt":"2025-04-24T07:32:28","slug":"the-role-of-several-microrna-types-in-mucin-1416-expressions-in-infertile-iraqi-females-under-ivf-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=8084","title":{"rendered":"The role of several microRNA types in mucin 1,4,16 expressions in infertile Iraqi females under IVF program"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The College of Science for Women \/ University of Baghdad examined the Dissertation entitled (<strong>The role of several microRNA types in <em>mucin 1,4,16<\/em> expressions in infertile Iraqi females under IVF program<\/strong>) of the student (Israa Mahmood Majeed Ahmed), in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree of Doctor\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>in Biology\/ Zoology.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Study the role of several micro RNA types in gene expression of <em>mucin 1,4,16<\/em> genes in infertile Iraqi females under IVF program in order .<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This study is designed to determine the role of several micro RNA types in gene expression of <em>mucin 1, 4,<\/em> and <em>16<\/em> genes in infertile Iraqi females under an in vitro fertilization (IVF) program in order to improve the IVF program. The study included (128) females under the IVF program divided into two significant parts first, 84 infertile females: &#8211; 26 successful implantations, 58 failure failed implantation under an in vitro fertilization program, and second 44 fertile females under IVF as control divided into two minor subgroups, 21 successful implantations, and 23 failed implantation. Quantitative Real-Time PCR (q-PCR) was performed to measure the gene expression of <em>miR-146a-3p, miR-146a-5p, miR-485-5p, miR-210-HG,miR-1226, and mucin-1,4<\/em>, and<em>16<\/em> genes<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The study concluded that is up regulation of <em>miR-146a-5p, miR-210 HG,<\/em> <em>miR-485-5p <\/em>directly regulate <em>mucin-1<\/em> gene expression. <em>Mucin1<\/em> has a high negative linkage with <em>miR-146a-5p and<\/em> <em>miR-485-5p,<\/em> and a strong positive correlation with <em>microR-210. <\/em>In infertile females undergoing IVF, implantation failure is associated with a substantial elevation in <em>mucin-1<\/em> expression. The infertility cases under the IVF program with fertile failure implantation cases related to significant down-regulation of <em>mucin-4,<\/em> except successful fertile cases recorded significant up-regulation. The up-regulation of <em>miR-210 HG,<\/em> <em>miR-485-5p<\/em> may contribute to an increased chance of failed implantation in females undergoing IVF therapy that targets <em>mucin-4<\/em> expression. <em>Mucin4<\/em> has a significant positive association with <em>miR-210<\/em> and <em>miR-485-5p<\/em> in infertile females and a negative correlation with <em>miR-485-5p<\/em> in fertile females.
