The workshop was presented by Dr. Amira Hassan Ahmed, Dr. Inaam Fadhil Musa, and Senior Chemist Yassin Hameed.<br \/>\nThe workshop aimed to introduce the concept of radioactive iodine, a naturally occurring chemical element in the environment that acquires artificial radioactive properties. It highlighted its medical applications, particularly in the treatment of certain thyroid disorders such as hyperthyroidism and tumors.
