Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Samira Naji Kazem, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Department of Life Sciences, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, organized a scientific workshop titled Protein Sequence Analysis Using Some Programs<\/em>. The workshop was presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hala Haitham Mohammed and Dr. Shaimaa Awad Abdul, with the participation of a group of faculty members, researchers, and students.<\/p>\n

The workshop addressed the concept of proteins and their biological importance, focusing on the analysis of amino acid sequences that make up proteins using specialized computational programs. This helps in understanding the functions of proteins within cells and their role in various biological processes. The workshop also reviewed the most prominent scientific applications of protein sequence analysis, which contribute to medical and pharmaceutical research and assist in developing modern treatments and therapeutic strategies.<\/p>\n

The workshop saw fruitful interaction and scientific discussion among participants, with several questions raised regarding the mechanisms of biological data analysis and the challenges researchers face in this field. Practical examples of how computational programs are used in protein sequence analysis were also presented.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
