The workshop was presented by M.M. Duaa Karim Harfash and M.M. Shaimaa Ibrahim Mahmoud.<\/p>\n<p>The goal of the activity was to introduce thin film technology, which relies on creating very thin layers of materials on a specific surface using methods such as evaporation, vapor deposition, or spraying. These films range in thickness from nano to micrometer scales, making them ideal for a wide range of industrial and technological applications. Some of the most prominent applications of thin film technology include solar panels, electronic energy devices such as transistors and touch screens, and providing coatings that are scratch-resistant, corrosion-resistant, or designed to control surface properties. They are also used in material sensors for monitoring environmental pollution.
