The Continuing Education Department organizes an introductory workshop on the Bologna Process…<\/p>\n

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, the Continuing Education Unit organized a workshop titled “An Introductory Workshop on the Application of the Bologna Process for the College\u2019s Faculty Members.” The workshop was presented by the Head of the Undergraduate Studies Department, Assistant Professor Sura Khalil Ibrahim, with the attendance of the college\u2019s faculty members from all scientific departments.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to familiarize the faculty members with the global Bologna system and how to apply it within academic departments. In addition to explaining the system\u2019s fundamental principles, which serve as an international framework for standardizing higher education systems, the workshop provided details on how to enter data into the system and the adopted methodology for managing study programs. The importance of applying the Bologna Process in managing and organizing the educational process in alignment with global standards was also emphasized.<\/p>\n

The workshop also provided a comprehensive overview of curricula based on the Bologna Guide, how to activate study programs, and explained how to input students’ data and create faculty accounts within the system. The significance of the system in improving education quality was highlighted, particularly through enhancing interaction between faculty members and students, and facilitating the tracking of students’ academic performance.<\/p>\n

In the final part of the workshop, the overall context and goals of the Bologna System were reviewed, with a detailed explanation of the guidelines that faculty members should follow when applying the system in academic departments. This workshop aimed to equip faculty members with the necessary skills to ensure the effective implementation of the system and facilitate its use in the educational process, thereby enhancing the quality of education and contributing to the development of academic competence within\u00a0the\u00a0college.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
