{"id":6216,"date":"2025-01-13T11:30:13","date_gmt":"2025-01-13T08:30:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6216"},"modified":"2025-01-13T11:30:13","modified_gmt":"2025-01-13T08:30:13","slug":"a-thesis-in-the-college-of-science-for-women-discusses-the-association-between-leptin-and-asprosin-levels-in-patients-with-type-2-diabetes-mellitus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6216","title":{"rendered":"A thesis in the College of Science for women discusses The Association between Leptin and Asprosin Levels in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>The College of Science for women at the University of Baghdad discussed the master&#8217;s thesis entitled &#8221; The Association between Leptin and Asprosin Levels in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus &#8220;<br \/>\nBy the student: Duha Qahtan Bakr<br \/>\nThe thesis aims to determine the potential relationship between leptin and asprosin hormones in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and whether this relationship is similar in males and females.<br \/>\nThis study, which was conducted at the University of Baghdad \/ College of Science for Women \/ Department of Chemistry, at AL-Mahmoudia General Hospital and Technical Laboratory in Baghdad \/ Iraq between November 2023 to March 2024. The levels of fasting blood glucose (FBG), liver enzymes, and lipid profile were measured using the spectrophotometer technique, and the levels of Leptin and Asprosin were measured using the technique of enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay (ELISA) technique.<br \/>\nThe most important recommendations reached by the thesis are:<br \/>\n1.\tLeptin and asprosin are adipokines with pleiotropic physiological effects and are crucial in regulating metabolic homeostasis.
