Under the patronage of Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Computer Science Department, in collaboration with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, organized a workshop titled “An Introductory Workshop on Student Disciplinary Regulations in Higher Education Institutions.” The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Oras Khalid, Dr. Amal Safi, Rija’ Mreej, and Dr. Safa Sami.
\nThe workshop aimed to introduce the disciplinary regulations for students in higher education institutions and how to implement them to ensure a safe and fair educational environment. It addressed the concept of academic discipline within the university campus and its impact on the educational process. It also discussed the regulations related to acceptable and unacceptable student behaviors, as well as the penalties and procedures that can be imposed on students who violate disciplinary regulations, such as warnings, expulsion, and the grievance mechanism in case students experience injustice or a lack of fairness. The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of raising awareness about academic discipline and providing the necessary tools to ensure everyone adheres to the rules and behaviors that guarantee a fair and safe educational\u00a0environment<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
