{"id":4657,"date":"2024-10-22T11:41:42","date_gmt":"2024-10-22T08:41:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=4657"},"modified":"2024-10-22T11:46:52","modified_gmt":"2024-10-22T08:46:52","slug":"assessments-of-interleukin-35-and-mannose-receptor-during-chronic-toxoplasma-gondii-infection","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=4657","title":{"rendered":"Assessments of Interleukin 35 and Mannose Receptor during chronic Toxoplasma gondii infection"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]College of Science for Women \/ University of Baghdad examined the thesis (Assessments of Interleukin 35 and Mannose Receptor during chronic <em>Toxoplasma gondii<\/em> infection) of the student Abeer Hassan Hawi.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The thesis aims to investigate the serum levels of IL-35 and Mannose Receptor in a group of Iraqi women with <em>Toxoplasma gondii<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The thesis includes total of sixty Iraqi female patients with toxoplasmosis (40 pregnant in the first trimester and 20 non-pregnant) were enrolled in the study. A control sample of 50 healthy individuals (25 pregnant in the first trimester and 25 non-pregnant) were included and matched patients for age (15\u201329 years). After diagnosis by the consultant physician, the subjects were laboratory evaluated for the following serological evidence: C-reactive protein (CRP), HCG pregnancy rapid test, TORCH lgM and lgG rapid test, and CHORUS Toxoplasma IgG avidity test. An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was then performed to measure the serum MR and IL-35 levels.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The most important recommendations which the study has come up:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Study the immune mechanisms underlying the interaction of parasite antigens with CLRs.<\/li>\n<li>Study the role of other types of CLRs and novel cytokines in toxoplasmosis and different parasitic diseases.<\/li>\n<li>Correlate the serum levels of MR and IL-35 with their single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and also study the gene expression.<\/li>\n<li>Study the virulence factor of <em> gondii<\/em> with mediators of immune regulation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The student obtained a very good grade.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=&#8221;4659&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; style=&#8221;vc_box_outline&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_raw_js]JTNDc2NyaXB0JTNFJTIwdmFyJTIwdHJhbnNfcGFnZSUzRCUyMjQ0ODIzJTIyJTNCJTNDJTJGc2NyaXB0JTNF[\/vc_raw_js][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]College of Science for Women \/ University of Baghdad examined the thesis (Assessments of Interleukin 35 and Mannose Receptor &#8230; <\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":167,"featured_media":4658,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[15,12],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-4657","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-masters","category-postgraduate-discussions"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
