{"id":3828,"date":"2024-08-01T10:05:41","date_gmt":"2024-08-01T07:05:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=3828"},"modified":"2024-08-01T10:05:41","modified_gmt":"2024-08-01T07:05:41","slug":"synthesis-characterization-and-bioactivity-evaluation-of-some-new-transition-metal-complexes-with-two-organic-ligands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=3828","title":{"rendered":"Synthesis, Characterization, and Bioactivity Evaluation of some New Transition Metal Complexes with two Organic Ligands"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">The College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad discussed the master&#8217;s thesis tagged (<strong>Synthesis, Characterization, and Bioactivity Evaluation of some New Transition Metal Complexes with two Organic Ligands)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\"><strong>Student:<\/strong> <strong>Ghadeer Adnan Lizem kazem<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">The thesis aims to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">Preparation of two organic nitrogenous ligands and their identification using available spectroscopic methods: (FT-IR, UV-Vis, Mass, TGA &amp; DCS, 1H-NMR, C.H.N).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">Using the prepared ligand to prepare a series of complexes with salts of some metal ions (Cr<sup>+3<\/sup>, Mn<sup>+2<\/sup>, Fe<sup>+2<\/sup>, Co<sup>+2<\/sup>, Ni<sup>+2<\/sup>, Cu<sup>+2<\/sup>, Mo<sup>+6<\/sup>, Ru<sup>+3<\/sup>, Rh<sup>+3<\/sup>, Pd <sup>+2<\/sup>, Pt<sup>+4<\/sup>) and diagnosing the prepared complexes by means of (infrared radiation, ultraviolet-visible radiation, mass, thermogravimetric decomposition curve, precise element analysis, proton nuclear magnetic resonance, molar conductivity, magnetic susceptibility, chlorine content and metal percentage as well). about the melting point).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">Determine the most stable proposed forms according to diagnostic techniques for the prepared compounds.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">Study of thermal analysis of complexes and decomposition stages through the DSC curve<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">Study of the ability of prepared compounds (ligand and its complexes) as antioxidants using gallic acid as a reference and DPPH as a free radical.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">Studying the effectiveness of the prepared compounds as antibacterial agents against bacteria, <em>Staphylococcus aureus,<\/em> <em>Escherichia Coli<\/em>, and the fungi <em>Aspergillus Niger<\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">This study, which was conducted at the University of Baghdad &#8211; College of Science for Women &#8211; Department of Chemistry &#8211; Inorganic Laboratory in Baghdad, Republic of Iraq, for the period from October 2023 until May 2024, Preparation of the formamidine ligand.
