The session addressed a number of strategic issues concerning the development of the University\u2019s educational, research, and service infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Council approved a project to establish an integrated <strong>Medical University City<\/strong> on the University of Baghdad\u2019s land in the Al-Rafeel area of Al-Ameriyah. The proposed city is envisioned as an advanced academic and healthcare center comprising medical colleges, health-related specializations, teaching hospitals, and specialized research and treatment centers.
