It also aims to fabricate core\u2013shell nanostructures, including Fe\u2082O\u2083@Ag\/AgCl, ZnS@Ag\u2082S, ZnS@Fe\u2082O\u2083, and ZnS@Fe\u2082O\u2083\/Ag, investigate the effect of different silver nitrate (AgNO\u2083) concentrations on their composition and properties, evaluate their photocatalytic efficiency in the degradation of methylene blue dye under ultraviolet (UV) irradiation, and assess their cytotoxic effects on normal Rat Embryo Fibroblast (REF) cells and human breast cancer (MDA-MB-231) cells using the MTT assay.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_18419\"><span class=\"cz_acc_child\"><i class=\"cz-acc-i cz-acc-icon fa czico-052-three-2\"><\/i><div>Content of the Dissertation<\/div><\/span><div class=\"cz_acc_child_content clr\">[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]The dissertation also included the characterization of the synthesized nanoparticles using X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), atomic force microscopy (AFM), and ultraviolet\u2013visible (UV\u2013Vis) spectroscopy. Their structural, morphological, and optical properties were investigated. The results confirmed the successful green synthesis of the nanoparticles and the formation of core\u2013shell nanostructures, with improved properties following silver incorporation.
