{"id":13793,"date":"2026-06-01T13:02:44","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T10:02:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=13793"},"modified":"2026-08-10T13:06:54","modified_gmt":"2026-08-10T10:06:54","slug":"workshop-on-the-industrial-advisory-board-iab-organized-by-the-quality-assurance-division","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=13793","title":{"rendered":"Workshop on the Industrial Advisory Board (IAB) Organized by the Quality Assurance Division"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the <strong>Quality Assurance Division<\/strong> organized a workshop entitled <strong>\u201cThe Industrial Advisory Board (IAB).\u201d<\/strong> The workshop was presented by Dr. Hisham Abdul-Manaf Atta, Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, and was attended by a number of Heads of Scientific Departments, faculty members, and College staff.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop aimed to highlight the <strong>strategic importance of activating the Industrial Advisory Board (IAB)<\/strong> as a pivotal link between educational outcomes and labor-market requirements. The presentation focused on mechanisms for aligning and continuously developing academic curricula to ensure that female graduates acquire the scientific and practical competencies required by contemporary companies and industrial institutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The participants also discussed ways to strengthen <strong>field-based and summer training programs<\/strong> for female students at partner institutions. In addition, the workshop reviewed international academic quality standards that contribute to enhancing the College\u2019s academic standing and improving its performance in scientific rankings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This workshop represents an important component of the College\u2019s ongoing efforts to establish effective partnerships with production and employment sectors and to strengthen the role of advisory boards.
