{"id":13773,"date":"2026-05-24T12:14:26","date_gmt":"2026-05-24T09:14:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=13773"},"modified":"2026-08-10T12:20:42","modified_gmt":"2026-08-10T09:20:42","slug":"detection-of-toxic-and-medical-gases-using-thin-film-technologies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=13773","title":{"rendered":"Detection of Toxic and Medical Gases Using Thin-Film Technologies"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Physics, organized a scientific workshop entitled <strong>\u201cDetection of Toxic and Medical Gases Using Thin-Film Technologies.\u201d<\/strong> The workshop was presented by Ms. Duha Kareem Harfash and Ms. Shaimaa Ibrahim, with the participation of a number of faculty members and female students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop provided a comprehensive scientific overview of the importance of the <strong>early detection of toxic and medical gases<\/strong> and its role in safeguarding human health and environmental safety. Particular emphasis was placed on modern technologies employed in this field, especially <strong>thin-film technology<\/strong>, which is considered an advanced sensing approach characterized by high sensitivity and precision.
