Iron oxide was added to the aqueous extract to evaluate its effect on the biological activity of Salvia officinalis and its potential as an antibacterial agent against bacteria responsible for oral diseases.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_16394\"><span class=\"cz_acc_child\"><i class=\"cz-acc-i cz-acc-icon fa czico-052-three-2\"><\/i><div>Content of the Thesis<\/div><\/span><div class=\"cz_acc_child_content clr\">[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]The thesis also involved the green synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles (Fe\u2082O\u2083) using an environmentally friendly, low-cost, and non-toxic method. The antibacterial activity of the synthesized nanoparticles was evaluated against Gram-positive bacteria (Streptococcus mutans) and Gram-negative bacteria (Pseudomonas), which are associated with oral diseases.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div><div id=\"cz_39284\"><span class=\"cz_acc_child\"><i class=\"cz-acc-i cz-acc-icon fa czico-052-three-2\"><\/i><div>Recommendation of the Thesis<\/div><\/span><div class=\"cz_acc_child_content clr\">[vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The study concluded that the green synthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles using Salvia officinalis extract is an effective and environmentally friendly approach. Furthermore, plasma and laser treatments improved the physical and chemical properties of the synthesized nanoparticles and enhanced their antibacterial activity. Plasma treatment showed superior performance, achieving the best overall results.
