{"id":13118,"date":"2026-05-05T08:58:00","date_gmt":"2026-05-05T05:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=13118"},"modified":"2026-06-29T09:06:18","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T06:06:18","slug":"standards-for-writing-scientific-abstracts-for-research-and-graduate-studies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=13118","title":{"rendered":"Standards for Writing Scientific Abstracts for Research and Graduate Studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Department of Mathematical Sciences Organizes a Workshop on Standards for Writing Scientific Abstracts <\/strong>Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, <strong>Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim<\/strong>, the Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematical Sciences, organized a workshop entitled <strong>&#8220;Standards for Writing Research Abstracts and Master&#8217;s Thesis Abstracts.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop was presented by<strong>\u00a0Dr. Jalal Hatem Hussein<\/strong>, <strong>Dr. Nagham Mousa Ni&#8217;mah<\/strong>, and Ms.<strong>\u00a0Dhikra Abdul Latif Ibrahim<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop aimed to highlight the essential scientific principles and standards required for preparing research and master&#8217;s thesis abstracts to ensure their acceptance in reputable academic journals and international conferences. It addressed the appropriate structure of a scientific abstract, emphasizing clarity, comprehensiveness, the research methodology employed, and the presentation of key findings.
