{"id":12560,"date":"2026-04-13T18:03:52","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T15:03:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=12560"},"modified":"2026-06-05T18:04:10","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T15:04:10","slug":"scientific-workshop-separation-techniques-and-their-importance-in-chemical-analysis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=12560","title":{"rendered":"Scientific Workshop: \u201cSeparation Techniques and Their Importance in Chemical Analysis\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"92\" data-end=\"578\">Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, <strong data-start=\"171\" data-end=\"207\">Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim<\/strong>, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Chemistry, organized a scientific workshop entitled <strong data-start=\"330\" data-end=\"400\">\u201cSeparation Techniques and Their Importance in Chemical Analysis.\u201d<\/strong> The workshop was presented by<strong data-start=\"431\" data-end=\"480\">\u00a0Dr. Muna Mahmoud Khudhair<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"482\" data-end=\"524\">\u00a0Dr. Mayasem Qasim Abdul Ridha<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"530\" data-end=\"577\">Ms. Mayami Abdul Aleem Abdul<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"580\" data-end=\"954\">The workshop introduced various separation techniques employed in chemical analysis and highlighted their significance in the isolation, purification, and accurate identification of chemical compounds. It also reviewed several modern analytical methods, including <strong data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"892\">chromatography, distillation, and extraction<\/strong>, and explained their applications in scientific laboratories.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"1389\">Furthermore, the workshop emphasized the role of these techniques in enhancing the accuracy and reliability of analytical results and supporting scientific research.
