{"id":12535,"date":"2026-04-13T16:53:12","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T13:53:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=12535"},"modified":"2026-06-05T17:04:23","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T14:04:23","slug":"workshop-on-the-use-of-animal-venoms-in-drug-discovery-organized-by-the-department-of-biology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=12535","title":{"rendered":"Workshop on the Use of Animal Venoms in Drug Discovery Organized by the Department of Biology"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"105\" data-end=\"499\">Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, <strong data-start=\"174\" data-end=\"210\">Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Kdhim<\/strong>, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Biology, organized a workshop entitled <strong data-start=\"326\" data-end=\"375\">\u201cThe Use of Animal Venoms in Drug Discovery.\u201d<\/strong> The workshop was presented by<strong data-start=\"406\" data-end=\"453\">\u00a0Dr. Reem Mohammed Ubaid<\/strong> and Ms.<strong data-start=\"458\" data-end=\"498\">\u00a0Noor Mahdi Fadhil<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"501\" data-end=\"981\">The workshop aimed to highlight the therapeutic potential of animal-derived venoms and explore how these complex biological compounds can be utilized in pharmaceutical research to develop innovative drugs for the treatment of various diseases.
