Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Kdhim<\/strong>, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Mathematics, organized a workshop entitled \u201cApproximation in Real and Complex Analysis: From Theory to Applications.\u201d<\/strong> The workshop was presented by\u00a0Dr. Nadia Mohammed Jawad<\/strong>,\u00a0Dr. Ali Musaddaq Dulafi<\/strong>, and\u00a0Dr. Farah Jawad Kadhim<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The workshop focused on the theory of approximation in real and complex analysis, which aims to replace complex mathematical functions with simpler ones in order to facilitate accurate computations and enhance the development of computational algorithms. The presentation progressed from rigorous theoretical foundations to practical applications in areas such as digital signal processing, physical modeling, and the solution of complex differential equations.<\/p>\n

The workshop highlighted how approximation techniques contribute to bridging the gap between academic research and modern technological solutions, thereby improving researchers\u2019 efficiency in handling data and advanced engineering systems. Furthermore, this activity supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education)<\/strong> by promoting advanced knowledge and fostering academic and professional competencies in the mathematical sciences.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
