The Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Chemistry, held the course, which was presented by Dr. Amal Samir Sadiq, Ms. Wasan Abdul Razzaq, and Ms. Tamadhar Ali Mahmoud. It was attended by a number of faculty members, students, and individuals interested in the field of chemistry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"_aupe copyable-text x15bjb6t x1n2onr6\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"_aupe copyable-text xkrh14z\">The course introduced dye chemistry as an important branch of applied chemistry, with an explanation of the types of natural and synthetic dyes and their chemical properties, as well as their mechanisms of interaction with various materials that give rise to characteristic coloration. It also highlighted the chemical structures of dyes and how they interact with fibers and other substances, in addition to examining their various effects in both industrial and environmental contexts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"_aupe copyable-text x15bjb6t x1n2onr6\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"_aupe copyable-text xkrh14z\">Furthermore, the course reviewed the main applications of dyes in the textile, food, and pharmaceutical industries.
