It aimed to raise awareness among researchers and students about the importance of selecting accredited and reputable scientific journals for publishing their research, in a manner that ensures the quality and reliability of scholarly output.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"_aupe copyable-text x15bjb6t x1n2onr6\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"_aupe copyable-text xkrh14z\">The workshop included a detailed explanation of the fundamental criteria for selecting scientific journals. criteria included evaluating the Impact Factor, verifying that the journal is indexed in global databases such as Scopus and Clarivate, and ensuring the journal\u2019s credibility while avoiding predatory journals that lack rigorous peer-review standards. The workshop also addressed mechanisms for evaluating journals in terms of their editorial boards, publication timelines, publication fees, and the importance of aligning the journal\u2019s scope with the research topic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"_aupe copyable-text x15bjb6t x1n2onr6\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"_aupe copyable-text xkrh14z\">Furthermore, the workshop presented a set of practical steps to assist researchers in selecting appropriate journals, including consulting official journal websites, reviewing author guidelines, analyzing previously published articles, and utilizing modern academic search tools to identify journals with strong scholarly reputations.
