{"id":12117,"date":"2026-03-15T20:08:18","date_gmt":"2026-03-15T17:08:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=12117"},"modified":"2026-03-29T20:14:38","modified_gmt":"2026-03-29T17:14:38","slug":"optimal-control-of-robotic-systems-workshop-organized-by-the-department-of-mathematical-sciences","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=12117","title":{"rendered":"Optimal Control of Robotic Systems: Workshop Organized by the Department of Mathematical Sciences"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, the Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, organized a workshop titled \u201cAdaptive Penalty-Ritz Method for Optimal Control of Multi-Legged Robotic Systems under Parametric Uncertainties.\u201d The workshop was presented by Dr. Nadia Mohammed Jawad, Dr. Farah Jawad Kazem, and Ms. Nidal Mohsen Abdulamir.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop aimed to highlight advanced mathematical and numerical methods in robotics engineering, specifically the use of the Adaptive Penalty-Ritz Method to achieve optimal control in multi-legged robotic systems and to address uncertainties in the physical parameters that these systems may encounter during operation. It included a detailed explanation of the mathematical models governing the motion of complex robotic systems and the application of the proposed algorithms to ensure performance stability and accuracy under varying conditions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, the workshop emphasized the importance of integrating mathematical sciences with modern technological applications to advance artificial intelligence and mechanical systems. It also presented research findings demonstrating the efficiency of this method in enhancing the responsiveness of robots to assigned tasks in unstable environments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This workshop was part of a series of scientific activities aimed at keeping pace with global developments in applied mathematical sciences and promoting awareness of modern technologies within the academic community.
