Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Sameera Naji Khdim, the Continuing Education Unit, in collaboration with the Department of Physics, held a training course entitled \u201cDynamics of Charged Particles in Atomic and Plasma Media: Fundamentals and Applications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The course was presented by Dr. Nabil Jinan Bahnam,Dr. Noor Yaasoub Abdul Khudr, and Ms. Maysa Rabi Naeema. It took place in Al-Hakim Hall, with the attendance of a number of faculty members, staff, and female students of the college.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The training course aimed to enable participants to understand and analyze the motion and behavior of charged particles in atomic and plasma environments, and to link theoretical foundations with scientific and technological applications. It also sought to introduce participants to the fundamental properties of charged particles, analyze their motion under the influence of electric and magnetic fields, understand various atomic and plasma interactions, apply particle dynamics models to realistic plasma systems, and connect theoretical concepts with modern practical applications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The lecturers explained that the course targets undergraduate and postgraduate students of the Department of Physics, researchers in plasma and atomic physics, as well as engineers working in the fields of energy, nuclear fusion, and space, in addition to those interested in the industrial and medical applications of plasma.
