The College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad discussed a Master\u2019s thesis entitled:<\/span>\u201cApplication of Plant Tissue Culture Techniques in the Propagation of Tulip (Tulipa gesneriana L.)\u201d,
\nsubmitted by <\/span>Teeba Hassan Abdul Karim Hamoud, as part of the requirements for obataining a Master\u2019s degree in Life Sciences \/ Botany, under the supervision of <\/span>Asst. Prof. Dr. Sumaya Fadil Hamad.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Objectives of the Thesis<\/div><\/span>
[vc_column_text css=””]The study aimed to establish an efficient micropropagation protocol for tulip using plant tissue culture techniques, by evaluating different explant sources and plant growth regulators during callus induction, shoot multiplication, bulblet formation, and rooting stages.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div>

Content of the Thesis<\/div><\/span>
[vc_column_text css=””]The results demonstrated high efficiency in vegetative multiplication, successful bulblet formation, and rooting, with acclimatization success rates reaching approximately 90%<\/strong>, indicating the effectiveness of the applied technique compared to conventional propagation methods.[\/vc_column_text]<\/div><\/div>
