The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Science for Women, in cooperation with the Department of Physics, organized a training course entitled \u201cAdvanced Modeling and Simulation of Physical and Electronic Systems Using Proteus Software,\u201d under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim.
The course was held in Abdul Hakim Hall.<\/p>\n

The course was presented by Dr. Zainab Hussam Mousa, Dr. Nisreen Khalil Abdul Amir, and Ms. Marwat Dawood Majeed, with the participation of a number of faculty members and staff of the department.<\/p>\n

The course aimed to introduce modern modeling and simulation techniques as essential educational and research tools in the fields of physics and electronics, given their role in simplifying complex physical phenomena, virtually representing real systems, analyzing their behavior, and predicting outcomes without the need for costly field experiments.<\/p>\n

The course included two main themes. The first focused on the importance of modeling and simulation in enhancing students\u2019 practical understanding, particularly in electrical and electronic specializations, through presenting experiments in an interactive and accurate manner. The second theme was dedicated to introducing the Proteus software, explaining its components, graphical user interface, and capabilities in designing and simulating electronic circuits, as well as linking theoretical concepts with practical application.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the course, the lecturers emphasized the importance of adopting modeling and simulation software in university education to keep pace with technological advancements, improve the quality of scientific outcomes, and prepare qualified cadres capable of effectively dealing with modern technologies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
