It also included a clarification of the various types of precipitation tests, such as tests conducted in the liquid phase, immunodiffusion assays, radial precipitation assays, and immunoprecipitation techniques. The mechanisms underlying these reactions were explained, particularly the zone of equivalence between antigen and antibody concentrations, along with the fundamental immunological principles that interpret the formation of immune complexes and methods for measuring them in the laboratory.<br \/>\nThe workshop further addressed the most significant immunological diseases that these tests help diagnose, including autoimmune disorders, certain types of bacterial and viral infections, immunoprotein disorders, and serum-related diseases.
