{"id":10336,"date":"2025-11-20T10:49:51","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T07:49:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=10336"},"modified":"2025-11-30T10:50:57","modified_gmt":"2025-11-30T07:50:57","slug":"the-dean-of-the-college-of-science-for-women-at-the-university-of-baghdad-participates-in-a-joint-scientific-workshop-between-the-college-of-engineering-and-the-american-university-in-lebanon-on","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=10336","title":{"rendered":"The Dean of the College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad Participates in a Joint Scientific Workshop Between the College of Engineering and the American University in Lebanon on \u201cNuclear Fusion and Its Future Prospects\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Dean of the College of Science for Women at the University of Baghdad Participates in a Joint Scientific Workshop Between the College of Engineering and the American University in Lebanon on \u201cNuclear Fusion and Its Future Prospects\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of the College of Science for Women\u2019s efforts to expand avenues of academic and research collaboration with international institutions, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, participated in a joint scientific workshop organized by the College of Engineering in cooperation with the American University in Lebanon, titled \u201cNuclear Fusion and Its Future Prospects.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">She was received by Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul-Majid, Dean of the College of Engineering, in the presence of Professor Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, the University President\u2019s Assistant for Scientific Affairs, along with a group of college deans and faculty members.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The workshop was presented by Professor Dr. Ghassan Antar, a consulting expert at the American University in Lebanon, who outlined the fundamental principles of the nuclear fusion process, which is based on the union of two light nuclei to form a heavier one, accompanied by the release of energy exceeding that produced by nuclear fission.
