{"id":10259,"date":"2025-11-20T09:39:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-20T06:39:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=10259"},"modified":"2025-11-23T09:53:08","modified_gmt":"2025-11-23T06:53:08","slug":"workshop-on-the-risks-of-drugs-and-methods-of-prevention-at-the-college-of-science-for-women","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.csw.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=10259","title":{"rendered":"Workshop on \u201cThe Risks of Drugs and Methods of Prevention\u201d at the College of Science for Women"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Workshop on \u201cThe Risks of Drugs and Methods of Prevention\u201d at the College of Science for Women<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Science for Women, Professor Dr. Sameera Naji Khdim, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Biology Sciences, organized a workshop entitled \u201cDrugs and Methods of Prevention.\u201d The workshop was presented by Dr. Salah Khairi in the department\u2019s library hall, with the attendance of a number of faculty members, staff, and students.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the workshop, Dr. Salah reviewed the risks associated with drug abuse and its health, psychological, and social consequences. He also analyzed the factors contributing to the spread of drug use among youth, including psychological pressures, negative peer influence, and limited societal awareness.
