The Rehabilitation and Employment Unit is concerned with developing the capabilities and skills of students and graduates alike within their specialization, which gives them the ability to compete for jobs through a set of training and rehabilitation programs for students during their studies or after their graduation, as well as opening horizons for cooperation with public and private sector institutions in order to market them.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Objectives of the unit<\/div><\/span>
[vc_column_text css=””]Preparing training programs for college students starting from the first stage of study in coordination with the concerned authorities, and the unit also seeks to open channels of communication with government institutions and the private sector and provide suitable job opportunities for all specializations of the college. In addition, following up the students after their appointment in state institutions and the private sector and evaluating the extent of benefit from their specialization. Preparing and implementing programs to qualify the self-capabilities of university students and graduates, which include developing personal
\nskills, following up students after their appointment in state institutions and the private sector in order to develop indicators that help in developing curricula, as well as indicating the most demanded specializations within the labor market.
\nFinding job opportunities for graduates, taking into account the priority of nominating those registered in the trainee databases within the programs prepared by the Center.
\nPreparing statistics that give indicators on the number of trainees, their specializations and the percentage of what was employed from them, in a way that contributes to the development of the work plan.
\nHeld workshops for students within the early stages of study with the aim of guiding them to the importance of the specializations in which they were accepted within the scientific and humanitarian departments and in a way that contributes to the student’s interaction with the specialization and the development of the creative side after consolidating and consolidating the idea of the importance of specialization
\nPreparing educational seminars and workshops targeting the labor market for the purpose of adopting professional methods according to pre-set criteria in selecting employees and in a way that contributes to overcoming the issue of favoritism, as well as clarifying the mechanisms for selecting the employee applying for appointment and in a way that contributes to reducing the mistakes of appointing employees Incompetent in important job positions that may result in the complete collapse of institutions.
\nPreparing specialized scientific analytical studies on updating and developing curricula and courses in accordance with the requirements of the labor market in line with the academic seconds and in a way that contributes to the development of the acquired skills of graduates by following the reverse feeding mechanism.
\nPreparing and implementing summer training programs for students in coordination and cooperation with public and private sector institutions (companies and international organizations) related to each according to specialization.
\nPreparing databases on private sector institutions and companies, including the institution’s activity, work sites, required specializations and contact
\npoints. Preparing special databases for students and graduates of the University of Baghdad wishing to enroll in the prepared rehabilitation and employment programs.<\/p>\n
