Who We Are?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

\u00a0 \u00a0 Postgraduate studies in the scientific departments began in 1993-1994 when it was part of the College of Education for Girls and continued when the college was divided and the scientific departments were included in the College of Science for Girls. The admission mechanism for postgraduate studies (Master’s and PhD) in our college takes place according to the instructions and admission controls issued annually by the Presidency of the University – Postgraduate Studies. The college seeks to raise the level of postgraduate studies and scientific research by providing supplies and cooperating with scientific institutions in other ministries to address the challenges facing our country according to scientific foundations.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The college has provided appropriate classrooms equipped with interactive whiteboards, rooms equipped with computers and internet lines in each scientific department, as well as providing a library for use by teachers and postgraduate and preliminary studies students, as well as providing Internet service (Wireless) that covers the college area and is available to faculty members and postgraduate students using their computers Personal.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0 \u00a0 The departments (biology, chemistry, physics) award master’s and doctoral degrees, and the mathematics department awards a master’s degree. The application is limited to females only, in addition to that the system used in the study is the semester system (Two Semesters) in the academic year.<\/span><\/div>\n

The Graduate Student Affairs Division grants the graduate a Doctor of Philosophy degree in the majors prescribed in the departments (Biology Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics) as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

Department of Biology Sciences:<\/span><\/strong> (Botany, Microbiology, (Genetics until 2015\/2016) now this major is suspended, Zoology, Ecology)<\/span>
\nDepartment of Chemistry:<\/span> <\/strong>(organic, inorganic, analytical, biological, physical)<\/span>
\nDepartment of Physics:<\/span> <\/strong>(laser and optics, nuclear and environmental (this major is currently suspended), theory and molecular (this major is currently suspended), solid state and materials, and general physics (this major is currently suspended)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″]
